Guacamole, Rice, Tortillas, TVP Filling, Refried beans [Gabriel Schmerler]


3 avocados - peeled, pitted, and mashed
1 lime, juiced
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup diced onion
3 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro
2 roma (plum) tomatoes, diced
1 teaspoon minced garlic
1 pinch ground cayenne pepper (optional)


2 cups white rice
3 cups water
1 tspn salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
Cilantro one bunch choped
1 small onion choped fine
1 red pepper choped fine
1 clove garlis choped fine
4 table sppons of oil

Fry vegetables in oil till golden, add rice stir in briefly, add water and cover pot, bring to a boil then right away turn to a low simmer for 20 minutes, allow to rest for 10 minutes, fluff rice with a fork ** When cooking rice never uncover the pot once you have put it on to check and never mix the rice untill it is done.

TVP Filling

1 cup TVP
2 Cup Water
1 small can tomatoe crushed
1 onion
1 pepper
2 colve garlic
Chili powder
soya sauce to taste

Soak TVP in water
Fry vegtables till golden, add TVP, Tomatoe crushed, spice and soya sauce to taste,

Refried beans 

One can red or black beans
1 onion small
1 clove garlic
1 tablespoon Cumin
salt and pepper

Fry onion and Garlic, add cumin, add drained beans and boil - season with salt and pepper, puree if desired, add water to get the right consistency
