Ø Flour
Ø Butter
Ø Milk
Ø Parsley
Ø Salt
Ø 1 Butternut Squash
Ø 1 bunch spinach
Ø Feta cheese
Ø Olive Oil
Ø Carrots
Ø Tomatoes
Ø Sunflower seeds
Ø Raisins
Ø Parsley
Ø Almonds
Ø Dried Italian herbs
Ø Salt, Pepper
Cooking Instructions
· Preheat oven 4000F. Grease baking tray.
· Prepare vegetables: Dice carrots. Peel and dice squash. Cut spinach. Cut parsley.
· Roast and cut almonds.
· Heat oil. Add Italian herbs and tomatoes. When tomatoes are half cooked, add squash.
· When half cooked, add carrots and cook for a few minutes. Add spinach and cook for a few minutes.
· Remove from heat and add feta cheese, olive oil, sunflower seeds, raisins, roasted almonds, salt and pepper.
· You may add additional spices if you wish and mix well.
· In a separate bowl, make the dough but mixing the butter in the flour using the rubbing-in methods i.e. rubbing the butter in the flour with the fingertips until the mixture resembles fine breadcrumbs. Add parsley and salt. Add cold milk and make a soft but not sticky dough.
· Roll the dough evenly and place in baking tray. Add filing on top and cover with another layer of dough.
· Bake until golden brown. Serve hot.
