Koshary  
Quantity:   12-15 servings

Ingredients

Rice (5 cups)
Lentils (5 cups)
2 Cans of crushed tomato sauce
Pasta (small cut macaroni) 
10 big onions 
Salt
Pepper
Cumin
Garlic 15 cloves of garlic
Chili peppers


Cooking Instructions

Preparation
1. Boil water with salt.  Add pasta.  
2. Slice onions.  Sauté until dark brown.  Take out ¾ of the onions and place them in a plate with Napkin papers to absorb the oil.
3. Rinse lentils and place in water. Add cumin.  Boil.  Sift the water content out.
4. Mince garlic.


Cooking 
5. Put the rice with the remainder of the onions.  Mix.
6. Put water, salt and cover on high heat until it boils.
7. Bring heat to medium and keep covered.
8. After the water has been absorbed and 50% cooked, bring rice to low heat and mix in lentils.
9. Add garlic in pan with oil.  When it simmers, add crushed tomato and stir.
10. Add water to get appropriate thickness.
11. Add salt, pepper and chili peppers.
12. Cover and simmer over medium heat.
13. Serve hot!

Quantity:   12-15 servings
Preparation Time:  25 minutes
Cooking Time:  20 minutes

Ingredients

3/4 cups bulgar 
4 bunches Parsley 
4 Tomatoes 
2-3 lemons 
3 bunches Green onions 
Sumac 
Salt 
1/2 cup Olive Oil 

Cooking Instructions

Preparation
1. Boil 1.5 cups water with a little oil.  Add ¾ cup Bulgar and leave for 30 min.
2. Chop parsley, tomatoes, green onions.
3. Squeeze lemons


Cooking 
4. Add everything together and Serve! 
